Notes from the Principal
Dear Sheridan Stallion Parents:
Thank you for your participation (and all the fabulous donations) in many recent events. The PTO Carnival was a huge success, and state assessments were taken with refreshments, all thanks to you and our fantastic PTO!
Just a couple of reminders as the year draws to a close:
School is not over yet, so we need to keep schedules and structure consistent as much as possible to end the year strong
The weather is fickle, so please remind your kids to dress appropriately, and anticipate the changes.
When dropping off kids in the morning, please pull as far up and near the sidewalk as possible, so many can be dropped off at once. Pulling up just to the door is causing a backup of traffic out into the street, and that becomes unsafe for all.
Please send whatever you feel your child may need for our outdoor events, such as sunscreen, water bottles to be filled, and hats (to be worn outside only).
The Awards Ceremony and Talent Show will be on the last day of school, and we hope to see you there!

1st: Rehearsal at the C.L. Hoover Opera House for ALL 5th graders from 5-8 pm
2nd: All DAY rehearsal at C.L. Hoover Opera House for 5th graders
3rd: Morning rehearsal at the C.L. Hoover Opera House for 5th grade; Dress Rehearsal Performance for school 1:00 pm at the C.L. Hoover Opera House
3rd- Beauty and Beast Jr. Performance 7:00p.m at. C.L Hoover Opera House (5th Graders arrive at 6:00p.m.)
4th: Rehearsal at the Opera House for 5th grade from 12:00-2:45pm; Beauty and the Beast Jr. Performance 7pm at the C.L. Hoover Opera House (5th Graders arrive 6:00 p.m.)
11th: PE/MUSIC Fun Friday for ALL Classes
24th: Awards in the morning and Talent Show in afternoon
Hello Sheridan Families!
Our stallions have been working very hard in PE this semester. Please parents could you check with your children and make sure they are bringing/wearing their tennis shoes for PE. With warmer weather I have seen some flip flops/boots and for safety reasons and full participation it would be great if they could bring a pair of tennis shoes as well. Field Day will be Tuesday, May 22nd this year at Junction City High school track and field area. It will run from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. If you would like to come watch and enjoy the fun you are more than welcome to. If the weather conditions are poor, we will have an inside field day rotations inside the school in the same time frame.
