Hello Sheridan Families!
Our stallions have been working very hard in PE the last couple weeks. My K-2 classes have been working on a throwing and catching unit. Their next unit will be on jumping rope. Our older 3-5 classes have done a great work on a fitness unit and are moving on to scooters this week. I am really proud of all of their effort and participation. Walk a Mile Day is coming up on October, 5th @1:30 pm. Everyone walking will be entered into a drawing for prize. The K-2 prize is a razor scooter with helmet and the 3rd-5th prize a bike with helmet. We would love to have you come walk with your kid(s) and promote being active!

Note from Nurse Jones:
Hi Stallion parents! I’m Callie Jones, and I am the school nurse this year! I wanted to take a second and draw your attention to lice and the fall season. Halloween and cooler weather are right around the corner, which means there will be masks and hats that kids will want to share. Please stress the importance of not sharing these things. The district policy says that children will not be excluded from school for having nits, but if I cannot remove all of the live lice they will have to go home for a treatment. I will be in contact with you if this should occur. Thank you for your attention to keeping our Stallions healthy!
