Notes from the Principal:
Dear Sheridan Families and Friends,
The Holiday Season is upon us and we want to wish all of our families a wonderful and restful Holiday season. We want to thank our families for your participation in our November events Trick or Treat so Others Can Eat, and Turkey Bingo.
We had much to celebrate in November with our 3R award winner Mya Champ-Rodriguez, and two Shining Star winners- Mrs. Schlagel and Mrs. Deike. We also have Mrs. Brown who was one of eight finalist for Kansas Teacher of the year.
Did you notice the attendance posters in the windows of the entrance doors? We are required to report to the district and to the state. Students are considered to be truant when they miss more than ten percent of school. Whether an absence is excused, or unexcused, it is still lost instructional time. Help us in our commitment to giving your children the best educational opportunities by ensuring their prompt arrival to school each and every day.
We look forward to seeing you for our annual Christmas Sing-A-Long on December 20th at 2:45 P.M. Have a wonderful holiday season!
Sincerely,
Dixie Coleman
